One thing I loved was the uniqueness of each fabrication that fit well with the overall theme of each project. I also quite liked that they provide 3D rendering of each project, so you can see exactly what you’re going to get.

The Metal Man has been serving Dublin with some great metal fabrication for over 20 years. They claim to ‘aim for perfection’ and try their best to provide bespoke metalwork to their clients.
I was pleased to hear that they don’t just provide services to the domestic sector, as they have experience in working with the construction and commercial sectors of Dublin.
Aside from these, what truly caught my attention was their field of expertise. They create custom gates that can be used for either manual or automatic functions, which isn’t a service that others tend to do.
I also quite liked their fence speciality, as I don’t see others using wrought iron much when it comes to steelworks.
I was also quite impressed by their testimonials, as I could easily see how bespoke their designs are. I even saw that they created a Star Wars campfire.
However, I was a bit disappointed that they don’t provide same-day quotations, so you will have to wait a bit before learning about the price of your project.

I was impressed by their list of products, as they have different types of steel beams, rods, flats, sheets, coils, and open steel flooring.
What also drew me into working with them was their range of services, from cold sawing and guillotining of sheet and plates to drilling and folding services that turn their products into highly customisable pieces for any project.
Their painting and galvanising services were also quite neat, as I didn’t need to find a separate contractor for them. Well, it was overwhelming at first, but thankfully, they provide an easy downloadable guide for all their steel products.
However, there were reports of poor customer service from them. This might easily be a dealbreaker for some, so keep this in mind.
