I just purchased a bike through the bike to work scheme and, overall, a very easy and positive experience.
I dealt primarily with Dan but spoke with several people in their shop. All great to deal with. Dan knew his stuff, made some good recommendations re pedals/helmet, etc and was easy to chat with.
Bike itself arrived really well packaged, padded and in perfect condition. Easy to reassemble the small few bits they have to disassemble to post it.

They even have a central location, which local riders and international visitors can easily find.
The only downside is that they close a bit earlier on Sundays, so you’ll have to plan weekend visits carefully.

Excellent bike shop to get your bike repaired, serviced, etc. Staff is very friendly and supportive, have great expertise and always go the extra mile.
I had to bring my bike in 3 times within a week and the team has been always super helpful. Whether it was a puncture, getting the gears indexed or sorting me out removing a few bits from the bike to get it ready for travel, they’ve been there to give a hand.

What truly caught our attention was their comprehensive technical maintenance. Their team can even finish routine repair requests on the same day.
Plus, their mechanics handle basically everything, from simple wheel truing to complex headset bearing grease jobs. You get a completely free safety check before they start turning wrenches on your frame.
They even call you to confirm all part prices before making any costly additions, which avoids surprise charges.
However, their bike shop lacks a dedicated parking lot. You must first scramble to find street parking nearby if you need to drop off a heavy electric commuter.
