Our Favourite Laser Tag Spots in Dublin That Levelled up Our Hangouts
It’s kinda cringey, but I’ve always stood by the fact that as long as I’m with my favourite people, it doesn’t matter where we hang out. That’s until our usual spots became too usual. We were in dire need of a new place!
We were discussing and bouncing around ideas until we got to laser tag in Dublin. It’s new to us, and we were all excited by how active we would be getting – so different from just sitting and talking (LOL).
We checked out multiple indoor and outdoor laser tag arenas. With their flashing lights, upbeat music, and electric atmosphere, this is an activity we’d enjoy for a long time! If you’re also looking into trying laser tag, here are the best spots we’ve tried!

As soon as the lights dimmed and the neon lights shone, my friends and I were ducking and zipping around corners. The vibe in Arena 7 was perfect for sparking friendly competition. For 1 hour and 30 minutes, we ran and hid to our hearts’ content.
The game was both fun and challenging, and the music pumped us up, making things extra exciting. After we were done, there was more to do in Arena 7. We then tried their bowling lanes and arcade games, which featured classic claw machines.
They also have a restaurant where we ate grilled chicken and baked salmon from their main course. With facilities suitable for ages 8 and up, plus party packages, I think it’s the perfect venue for an entire day of fun for friends and families.
Pro tips: They only accommodate bookings of a minimum of 6 people, so inviting your friends for a game is a smart move! |

The moment we stepped into Leisuredome, it felt like we had entered a new dimension. With the bright neons, flashing lights, and music, we were all ready to game. It’s super beginner-friendly but without skimping on the thrill and challenge.
The themed arena can accommodate up to 20 people, and with its realistic props and next-gen weapons, we enjoyed an adrenaline-filled laser tag experience. We also tried their zombie apocalypse escape room, where we cracked the codes pretty quickly.
Leisuredome features a bowling alley, arcade, and restaurant, making it a one-stop destination for parties and casual hangouts. Their group activities are suitable for kids aged 7 years and up.

Game of Throwing is mainly known for their axe-throwing lanes, but they’ve also added laser tag to the mix! With interactive lanes and just the perfect ambience for fun competition, my friends and I were immediately moving and strategising.
Although it’s competitive, it was still incredibly chill, which I found perfect for friend groups looking for something new beyond the usual hangouts. The minimum age is 10 years and up, making it suitable for older kids (with supervision) and adults.
Since we were already there, we dove into the whole experience by trying their axe-throwing lanes and made a match out of it by outscoring each other. They also have escape rooms that are perfect for thrilling team challenges.
Pro tips: They sometimes offer early bird discounts, where you can get 15% off an escape room by booking 15 days ahead, so keep an eye on their socials. |

Unlike the rest, Laser Tag Dublin is situated in an outdoor space, complete with open areas and equipment. We tried their different modes, such as Save the VIP, Defend Your Base, and Death March – all were equally fun and thrilling.
Each 60-minute session is perfect for 10 to 20 players, so it suits groups like mine, or you could join other guests present if you need more people on your team.
With its multiple modes ideal for children aged 6 years and up, I think it’s an excellent choice for adults seeking a unique activity and parents looking for a fun party venue for their kids.
Pro tips: To keep things hassle-free, you should book in advance if you’re planning parties or group activities. |
