I was unfortunate enough to encounter quite a few in my first apartment. Rather than trusting my own judgment and attempting to fix it myself, I contacted a plumber.
The good thing is Dublin has a great selection of plumbers who work around the clock to help anyone in need. And if you ever need one, you’re in the right place. I’ve compiled a list of the best plumbers in Dublin who can repair any leak.

It was refreshing to see that their exact rates are included on their website, accompanied by the additional VAT for each service. I was also pleased by their estimates, which came at no additional charge.
From leaky taps to blocked drains, Brian, the owner, assured me that their plumbers can fix almost anything.
What stood out the most from their list of services was their boiler repair and maintenance services. Whether the problem lies with the boiler itself or the pipes, they have a dedicated team of specialists to handle the job.
I also liked that they installed central heating units with dedicated engineers. They can even upgrade your plumbing systems to be more efficient with water.
However, due to the large number of clients they work with, it can be challenging to book an appointment.

With accurate rates with no hidden fees, there’s a reason why they’re a preferred service throughout the country. Trevor, the owner, and his technicians on hand were great at explaining to me what needed to be done without complicated jargon.
Their list of services includes heating repairs, as well as kitchen and bathroom taps and toilets. These are among the most common plumbing problems a house can face.

Dublin Plumbing and Gas works with both domestic and commercial clients to address all their plumbing needs. They’re a great service for those with gas-centric problems, as their technicians are all accredited with the Registered Gas Installers (RGI).
Whether it’s a clogged toilet or low water pressure, their team of technicians is great at fixing them. It also piqued my interest that they work on sewage repairs, as well as fixing rainwater collection systems, which aren’t services that others tend to offer.
What they truly specialise in is their heating services. A few of their services in this speciality include radiator repairs, gas and oil burner repairs, and even the installation of underfloor heating.
Aside from these, I like that they also install solar panels that connect to your heating systems.
Unfortunately, they don’t have any insurance or warranty policies in place for their services.

As they’re partnered with one of the best gas boiler companies, they’re great at providing unique solutions to all your boiler needs.
Don’t worry because they also offer all the typical plumbing solutions for problematic toilets and faucets, as well as water filter installations.
Aside from these services, I was impressed that they offer environmentally friendly solutions to heating your home. These are in the form of dedicated solar water heating systems and unique filters that reduce carbon emissions, resulting in significant savings.
However, note that their services are limited to Dublin 7, 9, and 15.

I was presented with transparent pricing that’s paired with a fast and reliable service. With a myriad of expertise, they provide excellent advice and offer unique solutions to everyday plumbing problems.
Whether you’re looking for toilet repair or replacement, they’re great at working with these and more. Aside from that, if you’re thinking of a bathroom upgrade, they’re also the guys for the job.
A unique niche that they’re dedicated to is drain repairs. They offer a modern solution for blockages with their CCTV Drain Inspection and Survey, which allows a closer look at what’s causing the blockage.
