I’ve had the opportunity to work with Luke Joyce, the founder, who has been amazing. He explained their entire process thoroughly and provided valuable advice on each cleaning project.
Luke showcased to me their two main services: window and gutter cleaning. These two services work in tandem to promote a cleaner exterior for any home.
After their free inspection, they dive headfirst into using their tools to suck and flush pipe blockages. They always test to ensure they have fully cleared the blockage.
Their annual cleaning service subscriptions for gutters, as well as Fascias and Soffits, are also convenient. These effectively remove the hassle of booking.
Aside from these, they offer comprehensive cleaning services for any part of the home and gutter replacement.
However, there have been instances of accidental property damage with other clients, which their customer service team resolved promptly through proper insurance claims.

Base Window Cleaners does their job quickly and works with anyone in Dublin County and its surrounding areas.
They offer three main services: window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and power washing. Unlike other companies, their window and gutter cleaning services are often offered as a package.
I was pleased that their gutter cleaning already comes with fascia and soffit cleaning. It was impressive to watch their industrial gutter vacuum in action, which cleared the debris in just minutes.
If the vacuum isn’t able to resolve the issue, their crew will come and clear it for you. The best part about this is that it also helps them assess the cleaning firsthand. Afterwards, they start cleaning any gunk that has attached to the windows.
One of their operators, Xanah, also advised me to have my gutters cleaned twice a year. I appreciated her practical advice and attention to detail.
However, due to the extent of their work, their cleanings are a bit more expensive compared to others.
Efficient and thorough
“Had our guttering at the front of the house cleaned by BASE. The guys arrived on time and immediately got stuck into the work.
The gutters were full of moss and lots of weeds growing up there.
They used the vacuum mainly, but when some of the stubborn stuff wouldn’t budge, one of the guys promptly went up the ladder and tackled it.
They cleared everything out and ensured it was all cleared completely.
They were extremely professional, efficient and thorough. They were also very pleasant to deal with.

For a dedicated guttering service, Leinster Guttering is a great choice. With a comprehensive understanding of gutters, they not only clean, but also repair and replace them.
Their services come with free quotations, which I highly appreciate. Before the job itself, they came to assess the damage, and their operators explained it to me quite thoroughly.
Unlike others, they also give the downpipes the attention they deserve. They also clean the fascia and soffits for an additional fee.
Aside from these, they inspect the gutters for any damage and concerns, and offer suggestions if they find any. If there is any damage, they will do their best to repair it, unless it’s unsalvageable.
Proper insurance is also included in any cleaning service, which protects your property from accidental damage.
While I didn’t have any problems contacting them, there were a few reports from clients stating that the team can be a bit difficult to reach.

Stillorgan Window & Gutter Cleaning has over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial cleaning. They’re a family-run business that offers their services to anyone in South Dublin.
Aside from their gutter cleaning, they offer separate services for fascia and soffits, as well as patio and paving cleaning.
The Skyvac Gutter Cleaning Vacuum was impressive to watch. It took out most of the debris in one pass, and the suction was quite strong. A surprising addition to their service is the attached camera, which eliminates the need to go up on the roof for inspections.
I was also pleased that they did a few assessments of the gutters and their equipment for safety reasons before starting the project. Aside from these, they used biodegradable detergents that didn’t harm my plants.
However, if you’re located outside South County Dublin, I’d suggest looking for an alternative service instead.

For over 25 years, Dial A Clean has been a dedicated provider of exterior cleaning services. Their main specialisation is with commercial and residential buildings that need window and gutter cleaning.
You can avail two different options for gutter cleaning. One simply clears the debris and build up, the other washes the gutters, along with the fascia and soffit. I went for a combination of both, as that was more comprehensive.
Utilising a unique industrial-grade vacuum, they clear buildup in seconds. Afterwards, they use detergents and pressurised water to clean out any dirt and muck that has clung to the gutters.
Personally, I chose them because they’re the cheapest option on the market, especially when compared to others. Even with these cheap rates, they don’t skimp on the quality of service.
However, they are quite popular, and it’s difficult to book an appointment.
