That’s why I left my windows bare for the first few months in my apartment. Then I discovered the world of blinds, and never looked back. Blinds are sturdy and much easier to clean than curtains.

Baldoyle Blinds has been a family-run business for three generations, focused on enhancing living and working spaces with beautiful blinds.
What’s great about them is that they offer curtains and shutters for those who aren’t satisfied with just blinds.
They even manufacture and personally install their own products, which I quite admire. For blind choices, they have seven different ones to choose from. Some highlights that I like are the classic rollers, the ever unique wood venetians, and the incredibly sturdy aluminium venetians.
These blinds are available in various materials, including PVC and polyester.
Additionally, don’t throw away your old blinds, as they can either be recycled or repaired if they’re broken. This is available with a same-day turnaround, which I find quite convenient and
The only problem is that they are quite expensive compared to their competitors.

I highly appreciated the free measuring and fitting that the professional team at Priceless Blinds provided. Their 24/7 support was invaluable in helping me choose the perfect blinds for my home, thanks to their direct guidance and assistance.
Covering all of County Dublin, they even extend their services to other surrounding counties without any additional costs.
Their blinds come in different styles. Notable ones that stood out to me were fabric roman blinds, PVC waterproof blinds, and the easy-to-use roller blinds.

Fashion Blinds made choosing easy by providing me with free samples for my home consultation. Their consultants were great at offering advice and made every window of the house feel unique.
Notably, their blinds were available in a wide range of materials. A few of theirs that stood out were the floral designs, the fire-retardant ones for the kitchen, and the sheer fabrics that looked incredibly stylish.
There are also options made from recycled materials that remain chic. What’s even better is that all of these materials come in thirteen different colours to choose from.
The customisation doesn’t end there, either. These blinds also come in various styles, including wood venetian, modernised motorised blinds, and dual-fabric day and night blinds. All this comes with a great warranty that lasts for years.
However, I was disappointed that I had to install these myself rather than have them installed for me.

“Paul and his crew replaced the blinds for us shortly after we moved into new business premises just before Covid. I was very happy with with both the pre-sales communication and the craftsmanship. The blinds look great, have worked well and are hard to break. But eventually, after 5 years they started causing problems – that’s not a complaint – these blinds are used a lot (it is a school) so some damage at some point in time was inevitable. I contacted Fashion Blinds and was offered a simple and inexpensive repair service – all I had to do was to drop the rails off at the factory in Ballyfermot and collect them, fixed, a few days later. Because they have been in business for so long they know how to repair blinds and they have the parts. And they are willing to offer the repair service unlike many other companies these days. This is what really makes a difference.”

Stillorgan Decor is there for all your decorating needs. Aside from their blinds, they’re a full-on decor company that has some great options that’ll coordinate beautifully with the new blinds I bought from them.
With over 40 years of experience, I was pleased to know that they offer a wide array of paints and wallpapers that complement their other products.
Their blinds are the main star of the show, and these come in classic and smart varieties. Whether you want a rustic vibe or a modernised experience, they have blinds that’ll suit your taste.
They even sell bespoke lighting features that are simply stunning. There are also shutters and other furnishings.
If you’re willing to wait, some of their items go on sale periodically. I’d suggest waiting for a good deal to fully maximise your experience.
However, the communication isn’t one of their business’s strong suits, based on my experience.

For a custom-made style blind, I would highly suggest going with Signature Blinds & Shutters. Having been in business since 2010, they’ve made a reputation for themselves for their unique and highly bespoke designs.
I was simply impressed by their customisation. Each one of their products is made-to-order and is entirely created to match the customer’s design choices.
Their blinds come in different styles. I quite liked their vertical blinds, duette blinds, and their wood venetian blinds.
All of their blinds are measured when they visit your home, and can fit any shape or size of any window.
Booking an appointment with them is easy and comes with no extra fees. These home visits are personalised and truly show off their dedication to customisation. All of their products are also installed by their technicians, which is a nice touch.
However, keep in mind that their products are quite expensive.
