The 5 Best Hypnotherapy Clinics in Dublin to Unlock Your Inner Thoughts

Verified Professional Credentials: We confirmed that the providers hold memberships with established bodies like the Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy Association. This ensures they follow strict ethical guidelines.

Evidence-Informed Techniques: We looked for clinics that integrate hypnosis with proven modalities like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This helps clients address the root causes rather than just managing short-term discomfort.

Client Autonomy and Safety: We selected practices that prioritise clear communication and keep you in control with each trance state. Collaborative approaches help demystify the subconscious while making you feel grounded.

Ongoing Aftercare Support: We evaluated the availability of take-home resources, including personal audio recordings and follow-up check-ins between sessions. Practical tools reinforce neural habit changes after the session.

Breaking free from stubborn habits, panic cycles, or chronic stress often requires reaching past surface-level thoughts. It’s important to seek professional help if you feel too overwhelmed, so you can break unwanted habits or work through your challenges.

Whether you want to conquer a driving phobia, improve sleep quality, or regain daily focus, working with an experienced therapist helps create lasting emotional relief.

So, we rounded up the best hypnotherapy clinics in Dublin to help you find the right support for your personal goals. From mind coaches to psychologists, here are our trusted providers to calm your mind.

Nadija Bajrami blends hypnotherapy with tailored mind coaching and past life regression work, creating a supportive environment where clients can explore and work through emotional blocks.

She’s on our list because she focuses on accessing the brain’s information storage to gently rewrite old emotional responses, boost confidence, and ease grief. Her approach helps rewire subconscious patterns tied to sports performance, phobias, or chronic pain.

She even offers a free 30-minute discovery call before booking any treatment, which helps clarify your goals before spending money. You can even get morning and evening sessions.

However, her sessions are completely online only. While these are suitable for busy professionals, those who prefer in-person appointments may need to look elsewhere.

  • Flexible morning and evening appointment options
  • Helps with sports performance, phobias, and chronic pain

  • Open seven days a week with late evening hours
  • Integrates psychology and CBT into sessions

Cons

  • Operates strictly by advance appointment

Very impressed

I was very impressed with my session with Jason, firstly Jason was very warming and welcoming and very easy to talk to. I loved the fact that I was invited to his clinic to do the session as I had tried hypnotherapy once before and it was done over zoom, where as the session with Jason being in person felt even more personal. Also the fact that you get a recording of each session is invaluable too.

Highly recommend

In 2018, I sought Jason’s help to quit smoking, and thanks to his exceptional hypnotherapy skills, I successfully kicked the habit. Recently, I turned to him again to navigate a challenging period in my life. Once more, Jason’s expertise and compassionate approach made a profound difference. His sessions are transformative, creating a safe and supportive environment for deep personal change. I highly recommend Jason to anyone seeking positive life changes through hypnotherapy.

Website: https://stravershypnosis.com/

Address: 60 Hillcrest Park Glasnevin Dublin 11 D11 N9K8

Contact: 086 178 6809

Hours: Contact for availability

Practising since 2003, Stephen Travers brings more than 20 years of clinical experience to resolving trauma, anxiety, and deep behavioural cycles.

His private hypnotherapy clinic targets the underlying emotional charge of stressful memories, helping switch off the body’s automatic fight-or-flight alarm system.

We also appreciate his free 20-minute phone consultations, which let you discuss your concerns to see if he’s the right fit before committing to a full session.

The structured questioning during intake helps pinpoint the exact root of your symptoms before guided hypnotherapy resets those subconscious triggers.

Another perk is his convenient Dublin 11 location, which is walkable and has easy access to public transit.

However, Travers focuses his private practice on a tight list of conditions like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and panic disorders, so he may not suit general wellness inquiries.

Pros

  • Over two decades of clinical experience
  • Uses structured intake questioning
  • Convenient Phibsborough location
  • Free 20-minute phone consultation

Cons

  • Practice focuses on a narrow list of conditions

He did not disappoint

Today I had my last Hypnotherapy/Havening session with Stephen and I can say he did not disappoint. Prior to meeting him, I had been carrying a lot of childhood trauma around and after concluding the four sessions initially proposed,  it is clear that life  will be much easier to navigate thanks to the answers I found in every session and through his guidance.

Highly recommend

I had the pleasure of training with Stephen Travers Advanced Hypnotherapist, and to experience his life changing Hypnotherapy skills. Stephen, thank you,  you’re one of life’s Gentleman.

Learning and experiencing your deep understanding of anxiety, phobias, stress etc has really helped me. Your guidance helped me learn to transform negative thoughts into positive ones. Throughout the course, Stephen empowered us to build lasting confidence in ourselves and create meaningful, lasting personal changes.

I highly recommend Stephen. He’s an incredible Hypnotherapist.

Thank you Stephen

4. Sean Flanagan

Website: https://www.seanflanagan.org/

Address: Clifton House, Lower Fitzwilliam Street

Contact: 086 3134309

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Conveniently located in central Lower Fitzwilliam Street, Sean Flanagan helps clients clear persistent mental roadblocks and unwanted habits without medication.

His method wowed us, as he blends hypnotherapy with transformational coaching to uncover the subconscious roots behind social anxiety, fear of flying, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

By combining coaching dialogue with calming hypnotherapy, Flanagan helps you recognise how thought patterns shape physical tension and emotional distress. You’ll quickly learn how to detach from unhelpful thinking and regain control.

It’s also helpful how he offers both in-person and online appointments, which provides loads of comfort since you can pick where you feel most at ease.

But because his programme always pairs hypnosis with mindset coaching, it may not appeal to people looking exclusively for standalone trance sessions.

Pros

  • Prime location on Lower Fitzwilliam Street
  • Offers in-person and online appointments
  • Combines hypnotherapy with transformational coaching
  • Drug-free relief focused on permanent habit change

Cons

  • Not suitable for standalone hypnotherapy sessions

It’s the best thing I’ve done

I can’t recommend or thank Sean enough! He has helped me in more way than he’ll ever know and completely changed how I live my life. Sean put me at ease right away and explained everything in such a simple way that made the whole process not only easy but enjoyable. If anyone was considering hypnotherapy, go for it- it’s the best thing I’ve done and it’s all down to Sean and his skills.

Highly recommend

Sean really helped me both in life and in my drinking. He taught me a way of thinking that I still try to adopt on a daily basis. I really enjoyed the sessions and after 3 I noticed a big improvement in my drinking. I would highly recommend Sean to anyone curious to try hypnotherapy

  • Broad treatment list covering chronic pain and habits
  • Multi-session hypnotherapy strategy

Cons

Grateful

Fiachra’s hypnotherapy method has been a life changing experience to me. I have done 2 different types of hypnotherapy in the past, both successful but never had they’ve been able to tackle 35 years of bad habits due to unresolved trauma. Fiachra simply helped me becoming the normal version of myself, as he puts it, if my traumas hadn’t impact me. I would and will recommend it to anyone seeking healing. Fiachra is a perfect gentleman, providing me with great support and advices during those 5 weeks…. I will always be grateful to him for setting me free. Best, Nick.

Extremely supportive

I reached out to Fiachra during a period of depression and anxiety in my life when I couldn’t see a way forward. I found Fiachra to be extremely supportive and realistic in the help that he provided me. I now feel more positive about my future and have gained a deep level of clarity going forward. The online hypnotherapy sessions suited me as I was very comfortable in my own home and could organise sessions around work and childcare. Thank you Fiachra for all of your help!
