WILDE is an incredibly classy restaurant with a garden theme, truly embracing the flora and fauna aesthetic. The walls and pillars are decorated with an abundance of leaves and flowers, and it’s all complemented by a lot of natural light that brings it all together.
The restaurant takes pride in using local produce to create and innovate classic cuisines and dishes from around the world. Their menu may be selective, but each dish is packed with flavour and care, accompanied by a wonderful curated selection of wine.
What I would personally recommend is the wild mushroom risotto, which features truffle oil. It packs so much flavour into such a simple dish, the perfect comfort food if you ask me. If you want an indoor alfresco dining experience, then WILDE might be the place for you.
Pro Tip: If you enjoyed your experience and want your friends to experience the natural opulence of WILDE, then be sure to avail yourself of the gift vouchers so that others can enjoy it too. |

When discussing fine dining, a steakhouse is often the safest option. Wherever you are in the world, steak is always seen as a luxury. Fire Steakhouse and Bar is one of the best steakhouses in Dublin.
The interior has a mosaic-like feel, complemented by red, tree-like appendages that extend to the high ceilings. The tables are large enough to accommodate any group, and the dining room doesn’t feel cramped.
While they specialise in steaks, there are other main courses, such as seafood. But let’s be honest, you’re going to a steakhouse for the steak. Though if you’re looking for a good combo, their Surf & Turf is a good deal.
Pro Tip: There are vegetarian options too! While there are only two, they are packed with flavour and should allow for flexibility when it comes to your partner’s or your friends’ preferences. |
3. Khushee

Indian food is always a top-tier choice when it comes to dining out, and what better way to experience it than in a luxurious restaurant? Class doesn’t have to break the bank, and Khushee offers class and cuisine at a good deal.
The tables and ambience have that classic elegance, with a black and white colour scheme. Meanwhile, the murals scattered across the walls of the restaurant emphasise the cultural backgrounds from which the dishes originate.
You can never go wrong with Indian food, and there’s a plethora to choose from at Khushee. I highly recommend the Malabari prawn as a seafood dish. There’s nothing better than tiger prawns drowning in a delectable sauce.
Pro Tip: I know this is a fact for any restaurant, but you have to come to Khushee hungrier than normal. Their portions are big, and there’s so much food that you really can’t come here without a fully empty stomach. |

- Sunday:
- 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Dublin is a port city and boasts some of the finest seafood in Ireland. Sole Seafood and Grill has a rustic vibe, but it delivers in terms of food.
The restaurant itself features a lot of whites, beiges, and neutral colours. This is accompanied by numerous wooden elements, giving the entire place a homey feel while also exuding a sense of class.
You can choose between a few different options, but they offer a complete 3-course meal for €69. This allows you to enjoy the full experience of their menu without worrying about what to order.
Pro Tip: They are typically quite packed, especially during lunch and dinner hours. It is better to get a reservation rather than hoping for a slot during peak hours. |
5. Ananda

- Saturday:
- 1:00 PM – 2:45 PM
- 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Sunday:
- 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Here’s one of the few restaurants on this list that is the definition of fine dining. Ananda is classy and can only truly be described as an experience. They provide an experience that I simply cannot compare to anywhere else in Dublin.
While the restaurant tends to lean towards the safer side of decoration, with velvets and purples, it does lend an air of luxury to the space. They also feature a variety of abstract paintings that enhance the ambience of the restaurant.
As for the food, it has to be my favourite part of Ananda. They have a tasting menu that truly shows their mastery of flavours. The food is beautifully presented and accompanied by a well-chosen selection of wines that pair perfectly with the menu.
Pro Tip: They also offer a set menu for those who prefer larger portions. They offer almost the same dishes, but at a heftier fee. However, these are full plates rather than tasting servings. |
6. Glovers Alley

- Tuesday:
- 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Wednesday to Saturday:
- 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
- 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
We’re heading to a more exclusive place… and by that, we mean expensive. While Glovers Alley might be on the expensive side, it does deliver with its inclusivity when it comes to most dietary preferences.
The restaurant’s interior is a perfect example of modern design. The walls are sleek, featuring a combination of wood and glass.
What I would personally recommend is their tasting menu. While the portions are small, they pack a punch in terms of flavour. They also offer vegetarian and vegan options that are quite good and very inclusive for those with specific dietary needs.
Pro Tip: They also offer a full lunch menu if you’re not interested in the tasting menus. Their servings are significantly larger than those on the tasting menu. |
7. Chapter One

- 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Saturday:
- 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Another expensive yet highly rated Michelin Star restaurant on our list is Chapter One. There’s no real way to explain the opulence that this place exudes, as it truly is one of the best places to dine in Dublin.
The food is to die for. Yes, as is typical for fine dining restaurants, the servings are small… but they pack a punch. Each dish is carefully crafted and delicately served, always prioritising taste, texture, and satisfaction.
Their tasting dinner menu starts at €190 and includes canapes, a main course, and dessert. My favourite is the wild turbot—the sauce and its buttery texture make it unforgettable.
Pro Tip: If the prices feel a bit too steep, they offer vouchers on their website. If you can snag them, it’ll help lower the cost a bit. |
8. Hawksmoor Dublin

- Friday to Saturday:
- 12:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Sunday:
- 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Hawksmoor Dublin provides comfort, fine dining, and a good deal. They’re one of the more affordable options on the list, while maintaining the prestige and luxury that we expect from fine dining restaurants.
The restaurant itself is quite well decorated. Blues and whites are the main hues that envelop the place, a nice complementary tone that bathes the restaurant in comfort.
The food is portioned well, typically larger servings than what you would expect in such restaurants. It also features a bar that is always ready to pair your tasty food with a suitable drink.
Pro Tip: Although they have a menu on their website, it changes seasonally. They may offer different appetisers, mains, and sides than what is stated. It’s better to contact them first before proceeding to the restaurant. |
